Main Prompt: And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul. When a streak of light sends paramedic Leilana Yang into the heart of Northview, Maine forest, she never thought she would find herself in the middle of harboring a fugitive alien outlaw. Between her job fighting death and her family's future matches, Leilana wants nothing to do with her new "roommate". Add attacks on her life by alien bounty hunters and her brain is more then ready to kick him out. It's too bad her heart is too busy making other plans. As for number 287, he never thought he would find himself stuck on earth with a human as a "roommate". If they were back in the arena, she would be dead in a heartbeat, feasted on by the beasts controlled by the most powerful. Yet, that doesn't seem to do much for this woman who constantly seems to dive head-first into trouble without fear; a trait that drives him insane in more ways then one. With bounties on their heads, can the two of them survive long enough to see an end to this mess or will their own conflicting feelings be enough for them to claim each other's heads? This time, with this new piece of art, I will attempt to tug at readers' heartstrings by writing experimental poetry inspired by the greatest hits from different pop artists throughout history. These are universal melodies that anyone can relate to and be uplifted by. The process begins when the poet listens to a song repeatedly until a state of ecstasy takes over the mind and soul, transforming it into something magical - a sensation that only a poet with a deep connection to music can convey. I am such a poet, a goddess of the secret messages hidden between the lines of the most enchanting melodies of our time. I hope we can continue to connect with each other. PEACE and LOVE to the world. Author's Note 📝 The next step is to download Spotify! I already have. Just kidding! Enjoy, and remember that voting is compulsory! THIS IS BOOK TWO OF THE INDIGO SERIES. Please read Willing Prey first before reading this one... Four years ago, Robin Taylor walked away from the only man who ever offered her a choice. Now, she gets a second chance with him-an opportunity to work as Gerald Aldrick's partner within the Indigo House. Robin might say she's only doing it for the students if the lie weren't so laughable. But Gerald has concerns. Four years ago, Robin insisted she would never work at the Spirit Academy, but now she enters his faculty meeting with Trizstan Attila by her side. Gerald had already accepted her rejection, but was he wrong to do just that? Were his earlier worries justified all along? The story deals with heavy themes that are deeply personal for the characters. Gerald and his PTSD from war, dealing with the contradictory politics at home, and Robin with her identity issues as a trans immigrant. It's heavy, psychological, and grounded. The setting is fantastical but contemporary, a made-up world heavily inspired by ours, with a strong emphasis on society and politics. Genre: LGBTQ+ ROMANCE FANTASY Themes: psychology, trauma, identity, politics, sexuality, discrimination, wealthy privilege Tropes: teacher x teacher love at first sight, enemies to lovers, millionaire boss, size difference, rivals love triangle Setting: modern urban fantasy, dark academia Rated MATURE for a reason-please, refer to the chapter titled 'disclaimer' for the full warning list. UPDATES 2-3 times a week.

Julian doesn't hit me, he doesn't scream, he just doesn't let the sunset. We've been in this hotel for three days, and the clock on the wall hasn't moved past 5:01 PM. The sky outside is a stagnant, chemical orange the kind of light that makes your head ache. Every time I try to walk out the front door, I end up back in the bathroom, staring at my own tired face in the mirror. Julian says he loves me. He says he's giving me everything, but as I find jars of my own hair and old memories hidden in the minibar, I realize I'm not his fiancée. i'm his collection, and in this room, there's no such thing as checking out.
