Greetings dear readers! This is my first ever poems book. And um I wrote these all based on my personal experiences. As you may journey through chapters of this book based on my life and events throughout. A little sprinkle of the chapters are fictional but nearly all are non-fiction straight from reality. Hopefully you will love this journey with me. Few of these poems are dedicated to my friends or based on their experiences/point of view. Most poems may contain heartbreak or sad feelings but still the majority of the poems are about love, happiness and positivity. I am so glad that I am in a better place now, looking back on my life just a while ago I was not the person I am today. With the help of people I love the most I have overcome everything I needed to dodge. If you are going through something difficult in life, please share it with someone whom you trust more than anything. Remember being happy & positive is what matters the most truly. Love Y'all So Much. With Love, S.

One sample of my work (Note not all poems will be so serious, some are story like others are light hearted): "Every day, something happens... Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although. It doesn't have to be that way...! YOU can make it change! Stand tall, speak loud, Stand up for what is right! That one action... Can save a life...! You could make a friend, A REAL friend. Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! If you get no help, save yourself! You deserve happiness, and it will come! For karma never forgets you! Nor your enemies... Once it comes around, it will go around... Speak out, you will be heard...! The era of bullying will be no longer...!"

I grew up in a rural village in Vietnam, in a family where my father struggled with addiction and my mother carried the heavy burden of raising six children. Deep inside, I always longed for a warm and loving home, a father to guide and protect, and a mother to nurture and comfort. As I grew older, that longing shifted into a yearning for romantic love, as my heart began to awaken to its first tender stirrings. The poems I wrote became sparks, small reflections of each stage of my life, each one carrying my search for love. They were poems never sent, born of desires I kept quietly to myself, of feelings that never grew into real relationships. These verses echo my heart, a heart that once held silence, longing, and memory, and now beats with the fire of love. Some were written long before I met the one who awakened me, yet each line carries the tenderness I have discovered in the present. As an immigrant, poetry in Vietnamese has always been my way of breathing. What you read here are my own translations, sometimes imperfect, but always honest. These poems are not just about one person, but about what it means to be alive: to long, to love beyond fear, and to speak from the soul. Now, in my forties, I understand that the image I was searching for was myself. And with that discovery, my love has not faded; it has deepened, becoming steadier and more serene. I no longer search for "him" to give this love away to. Instead, this profound love lives within me, unshakable and whole. In finding myself, I found love.

Delena is determined to have a good time at summer camp and forget about her backstabbing ex-best-friend Mei. But when Mei shows up at camp too, suddenly revenge looks a lot more appealing than forgetting. * * * * * As far as 17-year-old Delena Torres is concerned, friendship is nothing more than a quick way to get hurt. This has been her mindset for the past two months anyway, ever since her best friend Mei ditched her and started hanging out with her arch enemy. She's more than ready to spend summer vacation alone-- then her parents surprise her by signing her up for a photography course at Camp Create It, the summer camp she and Mei always dreamed of attending. Still, even if she has to be surrounded by other campers, Del's determined not to get attached to anyone. She'll spend the summer by herself, honing her photography skills and forgetting about Mei. Easy, right? Maybe, if it wasn't for the fact that her quirky cabin-mate seems deadset on becoming friends. Or if she could stop running into the cute guy from the kitchen staff. Oh, and if she wasn't in the middle of a prank war after one stupid attempt at revenge, since Mei just happened to show up at camp, too. Yeah, this "lone wolf" thing might be harder than she thought. The story follows the main character Elizabeth Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. Elizabeth is the second of five daughters of a country gentleman living near the fictional town of Meryton in Hertfordshire, near London.
