Gabby was best friends with Chase in kindergarten before her life was wrecked. Chase ended up moving across the country, her elementary and middle school years were terrible, and she was getting bullied by Jana, the most popular girl in school. Gabby was never noticed in school, well, she was noticed, in a bad way... One day a new student enrolls in the school. Hot, smart, funny, skinny. Everything a girl wants, and all he does is talks to Gabby. Jana starts getting jealous and a rivalry begins to come between Gabby and Jana. Could this year be the year Gabby can finally be noticed, in a good way?

When a girl, Kendra, gets into a factory explosion and finds out that she has super powers, she becomes more advanced in intelligence, senses and reflexes. Kendra can also slow time to prevent things from happening. Kendra tells her parents but they don't believe her. To prove it to her parents, Kendra then finds a paper posted on a lamppost and it turns out to be a government test and finds the test on the internet to take it. After she sends the test a couple of weeks later the results come in and she had passed the test. In fact she got every single question right. The government then holds a competition for the supernatural human beings to test their survival, weaknesses, senses and intelligence. With six teams of five people each, Kendra is forced to cooperate and use their powers together to try to win the competition. After a while Kendra starts to believe they are only testing them to see what teams are useful for an energy source so they could find a new and improved way to live off of humans.
