This is a rewrite of my story Agent Moonlark. As my first fanfic it was crap so I am going to rewrite it! It's important to note that I have changed the main ship in this. It used to be Sokeefe but I don't ship is as much anymore and having Sokeefe is a bit vanilla so now the ship is Soruy, Sophie and Ruy ~ Sophie Foster is a fourteen year old Assassin for the Blackswan, a rebel group residing in California. She is the heir to the group and the leader of the Court of Moonshadows. In her court is Biana, Rayni Aria, Wylie Endal, Jolie Ruewen, Nour Kerlof and Marella Redek. Her mentor, Mr Forkle, sends her on a mission to retrieve an ancient artefact. ~ Ruy Ignis is the fifteen year old son of Vespera, the head of the Neverseen, the Blackswans rival. Him and his Court of Sunstars, consisting of him, Keefe Sencen, Adeline Prieto, Tam and Lihn Song, Dex Dizznee and Alvar Vacker are sent on a quest to return the Athena Parenthos. Coincidentally, that's the same artefact the Moonshadow Guild is after. ~ The Blackswan and Neverseen are at war constantly and are now both after the same thing. Who will get there first? Sophie Foster has had enough. After gaining a new, powerful ability, she is fed up with the Black Swan who think she is a traitor. So she runs away to the Never seen and joins them.

Memories scattered, emotions torn, and lost in her own mind, Sophie Foster is finally free of the Neverseen after many long months. While struggling to return to a semi-normal life and recover her missing memories, Sophie finds herself once again in Keeper's possession and working from the inside to destroy the Black Swan. All the while, despite knowing full-well that the Black Swan is the enemy, she can't ignore the constant nightmares of another life, in which she's befriended her enemies. Nor can she forget the constant nagging feeling that Fintan's hiding something from her... I rewrote this to get rid of that pesky writer's block. I'll incorporate things from the old story into this one, but here's me trying again :)

The world thought Kenric died. And maybe somewhere deep down, a little part of him had in the time he'd spent in the Neverseen's clutches. But it didn't matter when he saw her. None of it mattered. Only her. Oralie's world was gone. All she could do was put one step in front of the other, desperately hoping everything she'd ever worked for was not for nothing. She was drowning, but it didn't matter. None of it mattered. Because he was gone. ~ Oralie always thought she'd step down with Kenric once this was all over. She'd spend the rest of her life with him. It never occurred to her that by the time this ended, he'd be gone. Now she's falling apart, and no one's there to pick up the pieces. But when a showdown with the Neverseen reveals their possession of a hostage that could throw the Lost Cities into chaos, she's torn once more between her duties and her love. The whole world is depending on her to do the right thing. But he is her whole world.
