Possession, Transmigration, Regression, call it whatever you want but this Cale had quite the shock to process after his soul bond Dragon dissapeared the moment he woke up in the body of another person. What is even worse is that he had a hunch who he could be as well. Now in order for him to process everything and even get through things, he needs more than just a couple of drinks. Sobbering up is not an option here.
