I came to college for a fresh start. But I've seem to have gotten the opposite. Billy Hargrove was supposed to stay in my past. The taunting words, the teasing, calling me Pretty Boy....but now he's my roommate. He still has that stupid smug smirk and gaze that always lingers on me no matter where I go. He's mean in ways that feel deliberate, brushing close, whispering things he knows will get under my skin. I keep telling myself I can handle him... that I don't care. But being trapped with Billy is a reminder that I'm slowly losing whatever fight there is between us. No matter how much I hate him, he still makes me nervous in all the wrong, dangerous ways.
