Anastasia hasn't always seen double. Or that's what she's always thought. She thought she was no different than the rest. Until she noticed that during evening, her eyes seem to weaken, and the world starts to get double, and she can see strange things, for a flicker of a second, one of the two seemingly identical images of one and the same thing changes. Does she really manage to see the soul of the material world? The smiling job interviewer is actually a greedy money-sucker, whereas the beggar on the street has royal descent. Nothing is what it seems like, people say. But for Anastasia, everything is what it seems like - even the hidden truth that stays unseen for all the other people. Her world is different and unique, because she literally sees it differently. She has double vision and all her life through, she's been searching for the reason. Little did she know that she'd been searching for the wrong thing. Because not the reason mattered But the purpose it was meant to fulfill. P.S this is my original work, please leave gentle comments

In a kingdom that values strength above all else, 17-year-old Prince Markeo has always felt like an outsider. While others train for war, he spends his days in the library, studying ancient legends and filling his notebook with sketches of dragons. His beloved older brother, Prince Andreo, is everything Markeo is not: courageous, admired, and destined to rule. Celebrated as Aeldaron's fearless heir, Andreo earns the respect of both their father and the kingdom, while Markeo is dismissed as a dreamer more suited to books than battle. Yet Andreo never sees his brother as lesser. He believes in Markeo, stands up for him, and protects him when no one else will. When Andreo is killed in battle doing exactly that, Markeo is consumed by grief and guilt - until an ancient legend offers him one impossible hope. The tears of a dragon can bring the dead back to life. There is only one problem: to claim its tears, Markeo must first find and kill the dragon within a fortnight - a beast no one has seen for centuries. Determined to save his brother, Markeo leaves the safety of Aeldaron behind. Joined only by a handful of unlikely companions - some more loyal than others - he embarks on a dangerous and extraordinary journey that will test his courage, change his destiny, and reshape the future of the entire kingdom. ------------------------------- Tears of the Dragon reimagines the classic dragon-slaying quest into a heartbreaking coming-of-age journey of grief, sacrifice, and hope. It follows a young man who refuses to accept losing the person he loves most. It's a slow-burning, character-driven story that is very personal to me and inspired by the loss of my own brother far too early and the many emotions I went through after his death. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed creating it. I aim to upload a new chapter once or twice a week. Comments and suggestions are always welcome. Feel free to follow and share with your friends. Thank you :)

The kingdom has fallen. The king is dead. The dragons have disappeared. On the night Velmora celebrated peace, House Rander turned the Midyear Festival into a massacre, bringing centuries of Dravencrest rule to a violent end. Haunted by betrayal and separated from the dragon she shares her soul with, Isolde Young finds herself hunted by enemies she still doesn't understand. With Velmora in ruins and the mysterious Michael Valebridge revealed as the traitor who opened its gates, surviving may no longer be enough. Far beyond the burning kingdom, another heir begins her own war. Believed dead for years, Princess Lilliane Valebridge emerges from hiding to reclaim the shattered kingdom of Thornhaven. But a crown means little without a throne, and with only a handful of allies, she must unite rebels, outcasts, and forgotten warriors before House Rander erases the last remnants of her homeland. As kingdoms choose sides and old alliances crumble, forgotten truths buried beneath centuries of lies begin to surface. The Dragon Riders were never what history claimed. The dragons are answering a call older than any kingdom. And somewhere beyond the reach of men, an ancient power long believed extinct is awakening. Now, two young women stand at the heart of a war that will reshape the continent. One fights to reclaim a kingdom... and the other fights to save them all. 07.24.26 Dragonfall (Empire of Cinders and Fury Book Two)
