Rating: Teen (political tension, implied oppression, legal brinkmanship) Content / Trigger Notes: coercive governance themes, cultural suppression (non-graphic), political intimidation, tense negotiations. For a hundred years, the Galactic Council celebrated Humanity as a "success story": a once- isolated Deathworld species uplifted into the harmony of interstellar law. But the fine print kept growing. Treaty addenda became cultural mandates. Cultural mandates became enforcement. Enforcement became ownership. Then, without warning, Earth transmits a single, immaculately polite missive: Humanity revokes its own membership due to Cultural Irreconcilability. The Council panics- because the treaties were never meant to be escapable... and because the humans wrote their exit clause a century ago.

#HFY When humanity's first FTL test ship makes its inaugural jump, it doesn't just cross distance-it crosses assumptions. A stranded Galactic Council survey craft watches a human vessel arrive from Dead Space, the region where Council drives fail and every map ends. The Council has a word for that place: impossible. Humans have another word: home. And when the two finally meet, the question isn't why humans came- ...it's why everything else seems so fragile. Rating: Teen (mild peril, tense rescue, no explicit content)

#HFY When the Galactic Council flags a human relocation company as a pirate organization-purely because their acronym is S.T.E.A.L.-the galaxy learns a painful lesson: the difference between piracy and logistics is consent, contracts, and a truly terrifying amount of paperwork. Thanks to numerous HFY stories where I can stea.. kumph, copy some names. Content / Trigger Notes: mild sci-fi peril, boarding action (non-gory), evacuation themes, corporate satire.

They wake a squad of SAS operatives with locked-down orders, missing time, and one question that turns every corridor into a battlefield: What happened to our people?

Vree liked his humans. They were kind, clever, and tended to be adorable, in the way that a small, particularly spiny cub was adorable right before it bit you. Of course, small adorable cubs usually couldn't shapeshift or burst into flame whenever it suited them. Tusca hired a teenager on a whim, and a doctor because they were old friends. Unfortunately, nothing is ever simple when a Red Baron is at the helm.

I woke up in a metal cell, wearing some kind of black jumpsuit and bulletproof vest. It was strange that I knew the room was metal, or it was a cell, when I couldn't remember my own name. Or where I came from or what I was doing here. The room was tiny. My feet touched the door when I lied down. I stood up and pushed the door. Solid. Locked. It wasn't meant to be opened. I stepped back and analysed the situation. One - if it was not meant to be opened, it had to be opened. Two - I didn't know what was outside. Three - I didn't want to be locked up. The third reason outweighed all the others. Instantly, I knew what to do.
