Ma come aveva confessato a Steve dopo uno dei suoi incubi, lui non era l'unico supersoldato creato dall'HYDRA. L'amico continuava a rassicurarlo, dicendogli che Zemo aveva messo fine al terrore di Soldati d'inverno, ma Barnes era a conoscenza di qualcosa che Captain America ignorava; durante la sua permanenza nell'HYDRA aveva più volte sentito di questa ragazza, una donna tenace e difficile da sottomettere a causa del suo temperamento.
