Zeeshan Malik, the star badminton player's career is on a decline, his stardom is receding and if nothing is done soon, it might just fade and become part of collection of stories of people who had potential to be great but never achieved greatness. He didn't want to be an easily forgettable short story but a grand tale that's spoken of for ages. If Akira Shah wasn't so focused on the singular goal of being a good, sufficient parent for her daughter, she would've definitely opened a club that discussed ways of extinction of the species named men. They were despicable. And when her little girl gets obsessed with a badminton player she saw on the television, Akira already found herself hating a person who she hadn't ever seen or encountered. But Akira had never been fate's favoured child and seemed like this time she was destined to be that tale of Zeeshan's life, one whose imprint no waves of ocean can wash away.

NOTE : It's a sequel to "Lost" and cannot be read as a standalone. ● β™‘ ● "Are there any stars?" She inquires and he doesn't understand what she meant. There were no stars. "Can you see the moon up there?" She continues. There was no moon. "It's dark." Ayansh replies when he sees her waiting for his response. Inaaya turns her gaze to him, a peculiar look swimming in her eyes. "Exactly." Ayansh looks back at her, more confusion getting painted over his face. "It's dark. No stars, no moon, nothing." Inaaya adds solemnly. "That's how we're and that's how things between us stand. I trusted you and you broke it and that's the end. There's no hope or light here. All there ever will be around is despair." Ayansh listens to her and after a moment, carefully, takes a step ahead and a slight relief washes over him when she doesn't flinch. "Look up again." He whispers and after a little reluctance, she follows. "Surely it's dark," he says as she watches the sky ardently. "But it doesn't promise to be dark forever," he murmurs lowly and her heart thuds against her ribcage at the determination his voice held. "It's dark today but tomorrow? Maybe tomorrow, there will be stars and the moon too. Maybe tomorrow, you can see the light and the hope too. Maybe tomorrow, the despair would fade away." πŸ₯€ That's the thing about soulmates; they always find a way to each other. ALWAYS. Ayansh Mehra and Inaaya Rai were a little naive, a little foolish in love but oh, they were so in love and it would be a shame if they couldn't find their way back to each other, to the arms they belong, to their HOME.

"Inaaya," he calls out, a certain urgency underlying in his tone. "Don't ever fall in love with me." She doesn't say as a moment passes between them and then, she snorts. "Haha.. itne bure din bhi nahi aaye hai mere. (I'm not yet having such bad days)." She mocks and laughs playfully. πŸ₯€ Love, two syllables, four letters but carries with it the power to move worlds. The more you receive, the less it feels and even when you think you're better off without it, a part of you can't help but crave for it. Ayansh Mehra has craved for love throughout his life. The younger sibling, the second best, the awkward one in crowds, the shadow, the one who wants to prove himself but always falls short so when his brother asks something of him, he's quick to grab the opportunity. The task? Make Inaaya Rai fall in love with him and then break her heart. Inaaya Rai has a past, one she can't forget nor escape. It defines her, influences her decisions, makes her build a shell around herself. When she's forced to work with Ayansh Mehra for a month, she couldn't wait to get done with it because the last thing she wants is to be associated with the guy who had the audacity to propose her after an accidental meet. But destiny seemed to have other plans or were they really the plans of destiny or manipulation of it? After all, wasn't everything a lie?
