What if mercy rewrote myth?
During the fall of Troy, Odysseus finds baby Astynax hidden among rubble and flame-Hector's child, left to die. But instead of ending his bloodline, Odysseus gathers the child in his arms and walks away from fate.
With Polites, his loyal companion and quiet-hearted confidant, Odysseus raises the boy as their own while lost at sea. Polites becomes "Papa," warm and patient. Odysseus is "Dad," strong and protective.
And Astynax, once doomed to die, becomes a soft, bright, beautiful boy-his hair long, his voice sweet, his presence full of grace. He wears silks when he wants, armor when he chooses. Loved by both his fathers, he learns the sea's rhythms and the weight of his name.
