'Being the son of such an intense man wasn't easy. The expectations alone were enough to crush anyone. Sure, there were perks: power, freedom, getting away with things other people couldn't, but it was isolating. There was never time to make real friends, and the few I tried to have never stuck around. They didn't get it.
But then I met someone who did. His father was a leader too, and he carried his own impossible expectations. For once, someone understood me. It was good- really good.
And now he's gone. I guess good things don't last forever.'
