Tomioka just seemed so 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭, acting like any everyday person would, respecting Iguro, not trying to force-feed him but genuinely looking out for his health and hunger. ---- Story concept: Obanai meets Tomioka instead of Mitsuri in the Ubuyashiki estate, and his total lack of reaction to Obanai has the same catnip effect, leading to Obanai fixating on Tomioka. ---- basically i take that and make an entire canon rewrite while having sanegiyuu and obamitsu running in the background, along with some good old giyuu-mitsuri friendship added to the mix. theyre so silly i love them. basically me speedrunning over 30k in a fic with the schedule of two weeks with a whole bunch of tiny lil puns LOLLLL (this is reposted from my place on ao3, going by the same name!)

Iguro Obanai and Tomioka Giyuu knew each other before becoming hashiras. They went to the final selection, and got to know each other after it. Both of then eventually fell in love, and they even dated. Everything was great until they had a mission involving a lower moon. After the mission they got hashira position, but unfortunately...
