It's a realm closed to humans that Athena and her newfound book club members must traverse to discover the truth about the kingdom of Morsalia and save it from false truths and despair. The challenge is to find the missing teens and ensure the continued existence of the book club, which is in danger of being shut down.

Sadie steps out of her truck, boots hitting dirt she swore she'd never stand on again. The gate creaks. Then stillness. Jace is leaning against the fence like he's been there awhile-hat low, jaw tight, eyes locked on her like the years didn't matter. Like she didn't matter less. "Didn't think you'd come back," he says. Sadie lifts her chin. "I didn't come back for you." His mouth twitches. "Could've fooled me." - She came back with a plan. The ranch wasn't part of it. Neither was Jace Holloway. Sadie Rowe returns to settle unfinished business, not to reopen old wounds-or the one man who never chased her, never explained, and never forgot. Jace doesn't ask why she's back. He just watches, like he knows how this ends. Out here, the past doesn't ask permission. It takes. © 2025 V. Noire. All rights reserved. It started with a cigarette she shouldn't have lit and a girl she shouldn't have looked at twice. One drag, one glance, and suddenly her whole life unraveled like smoke in a red room. Riley is the type of girl your mother warns you about: soft voice, sharp smile, danger disguised as something gentle. Morgan knows she should walk away, but every time Riley leans in, the world tilts and her pulse betrays her. Their chemistry isn't cute; it's volcanic. Addictive. The kind of spark that turns steady hearts reckless. What begins as one stolen kiss becomes a habit Morgan can't kick. Late-night meetups. Shared lighters. Secrets whispered too close. Two girls tangled in something that feels like love, tastes like trouble, and burns just sweet enough to crave again. Some addictions start small. This one starts with a kiss.

Life on Jakku was a joke, the people were worse, and most days she couldn't decide if she wanted to punch them or just ignore their existence completely. Her mom said she should try being more patient. But Hera would rather take patience and strangle it to death - at least then she'd have something interesting to do. Then she got what she wanted, the day the Empire came, everything changed. <> <> <> <> *Many parings* ***Disclaimer: Star Wars and all related elements are owned by Lucasfilm Ltd. Content warnings: Genocide plotline, xenophobia, attempted mass harm, injury, panic scenes, political coercion. Rating: Mature. Three hundred years after humanity earned its seat on the Galactic Council, humans are no longer the newcomers. We're the ones who patch hull breaches with bare hands, drink stimulants that count as mild toxins to half the chamber, and run toward disasters everyone else runs from. So when the Council welcomes the Velnari, a pristine species obsessed with "clean worlds" and "perfect systems," humanity expects cold manners, not open hatred. The Velnari take one look at our small frames, soft skin, and "limb-deficient" bodies and decide we don't belong in civilized space. Behind ceremonial smiles, they begin a quiet campaign to erase the "Human Pest" problem. They pick the wrong prey. And yes I admit I recycled names etc. from numerous #HFY & #HaSO. Genre: Sci-Fi • Action • Galactic Politics • "Humans are Space Orcs".

I admired her because she was everything I was not-disciplined, controlled, and always correct. She followed rules like they were written into her, as if life came with a manual she had already memorized. To everyone else, she was perfect. Then she hesitated. What Wasn't Programmed is a story about watching someone flawless confront the one thing they were never prepared for: an emotion that refuses to be explained away.
