Between him and Pomni grows a tension impossible to ignore: a blend of rejection, complicity, and secrets no one dares to name. But the system's errors aren't just harmless glitches. Jax is on the brink of abstracting, practically microdosing on it everyday now.. Everybody seems wary of Jax and seems to avoid him. Pomni is scared for Jax, she doesn't want to let him go. She believes Jax is innocent and Caine controlled him. This fanfic takes place after episode 7. Crazy right? How can anyone make a happy ending after that. This'll have lots of angst, fluff, and maybe smut too.
