Quinn Bennett has always been a Kook, raised in that world and surrounded by its expectations, but her closest connections have never really fit neatly into that side of the island.
Her best friends are Sarah Cameron and the Pogues John B, JJ, Kiara and Pope so she naturally moves between both worlds, fully accepted in neither but emotionally tied to both in different ways.
Rafe Cameron has always been there in the background of her life, part of Sarah's family and part of the island she grew up on.
To Quinn, he has always been "Sarah's brother" familiar, distant, and slightly untouchable in a way she never questioned too deeply before.
But now that they're older, something about that perception is starting to shift. Rafe doesn't feel as simple as he used to, and the way he looks at her sometimes doesn't match the label she's always given him.
Whether that means he's changed or she's finally noticing what she's been avoiding is something she's not ready to admit yet.
And how he sees her is also a mystery to uncover, is she really just his little sisters best friend to him or could she be more than that?
