Yoshi's Island has a dark secret. Now this secret will cost them their lives - and Alani's life. Yoshi the Dinosaur, the ruler of Yoshi's Island and the Yoshis, the most adorable species in the Mushroom Kingdom, once believed that he could not be loved. Thanks to his large nose, his size, his high-pitched voice, his lack of courage, and the dinosaur bullies who harassed him for all four, he assumed that he was unworthy of love. He has never met his parents. When he hatched, he was greeted by his bullies and other dinosaurs, none of which looked like him. But one day would forever change his life, when he befriended the Mushroom Kingdom's most famous plumbers, the Mario Bros., Mario and Luigi. Wanting to join the Mario Bros. on their current adventure and be free from his bullies once and for all, he bid farewell to the other dinosaurs and his former home. Now a famous and formidable hero in the Mushroom Kingdom and the respected and courageous leader of Yoshi's Island, Yoshi found his place in the world and knows that anybody is worthy of love if his or her heart is open. Yoshi even started dating Birdo, who belongs to a dinosaur species called Birdos. But after they dated for over a year, Birdo broke up with him. Yoshi would have done anything to make her happy. He could not imagine his life without her - until he met Alani Star, a half-anthropomorphic hybrid and half-human from the real world. She is a corrupted Super Star, which drifted to the real world and shot down and into Alani's heart when she was a newborn. Right after Yoshi and Alani announce to their friends that they are an official couple, a mysterious event starts stirring up on Yoshi's Island. Yoshi and Alani, along with their friends and even their enemies, must figure out what this event is and how to stop it before Yoshi's Island and all Yoshis, including Yoshi himself, pay the price. It's been a year since Aiger became champion, but depression has taken over him. His guilt from his corruption phase has clung onto him like super glue. He apologized to his friends for being mean and they forgave him. Even Valt forgave him for breaking his bey, but Aiger felt like his apologies aren't enough. Can Valt help Aiger out of his slump before it's too late? Warnings: Depression. Complex guilt. Su1c1dal thoughts. S/H. and lots of other angsty stuff I will not name. The cover pic is not mine. It belongs to it's rightful owners. The characters for Beyblade Burst also belong to Hiro Morita.

Raised to be holy. Born into something far more dangerous. Seventeen year old, Evienne Ellery spent her life preparing for heaven. Sent away to a secluded boarding school in the Swiss Alps by distant, unfeeling adoptive parents, she was raised by nuns and priests to be obedient, submissive and small. Behind stone chapels and cold classrooms, Evienne learned early that love was conditional, punishment was holy, and suffering was something to be endured quietly Her future was simple: be good, be faithful, and one day do her duty-marry a man who would secure her family's interests. Her life was planned. Controlled. Perfect. Until it wasn't. When everything she knows collapses, Evienne is torn from the only world she has ever known and sent to live with her biological family-six brothers who are loud, vulgar, violent, and unapologetically criminal. They don't pray. They don't obey. And they certainly don't believe in God the way she was taught. They believe in blood. With them, she learns the truth of who she really is: The lost princess of one of the most powerful mafia families in the world. Her brothers have been searching for her for years, and now that they've found her, they refuse to lose her again. In their world of power, crime, and betrayals, Evienne learns that love doesn't always look gentle-and protection often comes with a body count. But as old family feuds resurface, enemies close in, and the past she was hidden from begins to reach for her, Evienne is forced to confront an impossible question: What happens when the people you love will never be welcome in heaven-and you're no longer sure you want to go without them?
