Welcome to the most prestigious and elite school in Korea. Daeun Academy. It's a school where all the kdrama clichés come to life. But first, you must know your status in the school's hierarchy. the lowest of the lowest; welfare students. These students come from poor backgrounds and only attend the school based on their academic merit. They are at the very bottom of the social hierarchy and are often mercilessly bullied by the wealthier students, who believe they should "know their place". Parvenus: students from families who have recently become wealthy. They are regarded as "gauche" or unsophisticated by the old money heirs and are generally tolerated but not fully accepted. The elite: The children of Korea's most powerful and well-established families. These students are at the top of the social food chain. They hold significant power and are often feared by other students. There are only eight of them, and spoiler alert, you're not part of them.
