"I'm not even a whole person, Hugh," my voice is all quiet and squeaky, I can barely form the words. "Yes, you are," he reassures. "No I'm all broken and splintered and I don't even know who I am, I'm nothing, I'm just this void, and I can't fucking escape it, or fix it. I feel like Caoimhe took pieces of me and I won't get them back until I'm with her again." ☆☆☆ This is a Boys of Tommen fan fiction, following Lizzie Young and Hugh Biggs. This story is a sequel to my other completed story 'Seeing You' which follows Patrick Feely and Katie Wilmot, and this story won't make much sense if you read it first. It is also the second instalment in my 'Boys of Tommen You Series'! All of these characters belong to Chloe Walsh, I do not claim any of them as my own, this is purely for fun. This is all speculation and many parts will most likely not line up with the canon, especially as this was written before Releasing 10 was published. TW: This story will include self harm, character death(flashbacks), eating disorders, cheating, depression, suicide ideation/attempted suicide, anxiety, bipolar disorder and overall a lot of trauma. There will also be some explicit scenes that are 16+. I will however be putting specific warnings for different chapters, so you can avoid triggers. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoy! (Comment any questions or suggestions that you have for me)

Madeline Sullivan is sixteen when her world collapses. After her mother's death, she leaves Clonakilty, Cork, and moves to the small town of Ballylaggin with a father who loves her but keeps losing himself to addiction. Raised in a home shaped by grief, silence, and instability, Madeline learns early how to survive on her own-closed off, emotionally distant, and hollowed out by things she's never learned how to name. Her mind has always been loud. Anxiety clings to her, depression settles in her bones, and trust feels like a risk she can't afford. Music becomes her only escape-the one place where she can breathe, where the world softens enough to endure. After an abusive relationship at a young age, Madeline's fear of men hardens into something immovable. She convinces herself that solitude is safer. That love is something other people get to have. But Ballylaggin has a way of disrupting the quiet walls she's built. When Patrick Feely-the town's reserved, soft-spoken rugby star-takes an interest in her, Madeline is forced to confront the one thing she's avoided her whole life: connection. And sometimes, the most dangerous thing isn't falling apart- it's letting someone see the pieces.

𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃 He was so happy. How was he so happy all the time? Nobody is that happy. It's impossible. ____________________________________ 𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐄 𝐋𝐘𝐍𝐂𝐇 I hated everything about myself. The way my body matured differently than Shannon's. The way my body was curved and built for the eyes of man. I hated me. I hated everything. 𝐉𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐍 𝐆𝐈𝐁𝐒𝐎𝐍 I was funny. Not as funny as my brother. I had a nice smile, my mother told me so(but she wouldn't believe me if I had told her) I was good at smiling, it made me look happy and that made me feel happy. I wanted to wipe any unhappy memories out of my brain, I wanted to clean the dirt dug into my skin. But I can't. So I'm just happy.
