"Even if we meet in our dreams, will you remember me too?" Khion is a young man, just 27 years old living in a small empty town. His life is just as boring as the town, same cycle, same routine, nothing change. Just the same routine of him working as caretaker of properties left behind by people who chose to embrace city life. Once a year, the empty town stirred. An annual festival was held and everyone from the city comes back, not because anyone believed the town still mattered, but because tradition was stubborn. Vendors arrived from neighboring town, lights were strung across streets that hadn't seen crowds in years, and for a single day the town pretended it was alive again. That was when he noticed him. Someone who gave color to his monochrome life. Inspired by Harehare Ya

I used to move through things without really stopping. Days came and went, and I let them. It was easier that way. Nothing asked too much of me, and I didn't ask much back. If something slipped away, I told myself it was fine. Most things are. Somewhere along the way, though, I started noticing how quiet moments linger longer than they should. How certain thoughts don't disappear just because you ignore them. How even small things leave behind a shape when they're gone. I don't think I changed all at once. I'm still much the same. But, it was more like slowing down without meaning to. Letting my eyes rest on things for an extra second. Feeling something soften, just a little, before moving on. And I just wonder, when something small disappears from your days, do you feel it leave?

"My toes flirt with the edge as I scrape my shoe across the concrete, wondering how I would feel without it beneath my feet. I lean forward one last time with my hands grasping the railing behind me. Contemplating. Sigh. Maybe another time. I shiver from the wind and turn back around, hoisting myself up and swinging one leg over to straddle the railing. The wind gusts again, making me almost lose my balance in this vulnerable and awkward position. I quickly clasp onto the railing for dear life. I sit there frozen for a second with tense muscles and wide eyes. After regaining my balance I laugh to myself about how silly I must look right now. It's funny how instinctual it is to cling to life. It's even more funny knowing moments before I was contemplating taking it. I set us back so far when I lost everything. The kids deserve everything this world has to offer, and it's up to me to provide that for them. I want to be the platform they can jump off into all the success they ever could dream of. They saved my life - I want to give them the world." Chan has felt lost for so many years. Is this what he's really meant to be doing? Little does he know, seven other kids will soon come into his life and change everything. I would consider the Finding SKZ series an easy read; lighthearted while still fulfilling the reader's need for drama. No crazy triggers to mention, just 8 silly boys having a silly time while trying to navigate becoming idols and developing feelings.
