Una mañana tranquila, con rayos de sol iluminando cada rincón del amplio bosque, Lucifer se encontraría con un cervatillo herido, pequeño, desconfiado. Pero con un inusual pelaje rojizo y ojos que parecían entenderlo todo. Lo cuidó, lo acompañó... y sin saberlo, despertó algo más que gratitud. Años después, ya separado y con una hija, un reencuentro inesperado cambiaría su vida. Al escuchar el leve toque de su puerta, un hombre extraño aparecería frente a él: alto, delgado, con piel beige, cabello rojo y orejas que le recordaban a un ciervo. Su apariencia era sorprendente... pero lo más inquietante era aquella sonrisa, amplia y enigmática, como si ocultara secretos que jamás se debían conocer. El padre de este le pide al joven Alastor cuidar y ser amigo de su hijo, al menos por el tiempo que le queda. El amor es también dejar ir... O eso dicen.
