Julianne, the once poised daughter of a count, left everything behind to become an outlaw. Because of a heinous crime she committed, what once was hers were now lost. Her name, her status, and her own family... All because she fell victim to the poisonous one-sided affection for a man that was well-beyond her league. The man soon met his demise, after drinking poison as he lost in the battle for the heart of the maiden he deeply loved. Julianne swore to have them suffer as her beloved did, and it was her very revenge that killed her. Julianne awoke, frightened at how she had returned to the past, years before her imminent death.

Do you think a mere human can win against fate? You probably read a lot of stories where a reincarnated person succeeded as a villainess. Most reincarnated people were teenagers who had a sad life or maybe assassins who can fight or maybe geniuses. Some change and started being nice towards the heroine and capture targets. Some easily accepted the villainess role and turned the tables. The heroine becomes the villainess and the villainess became the heroine. Most villainess succeeded and change their destinies while others died. What about my story? Did I change my destiny? I did, accepted the role of a villainess without caring about the results. I tried to be as cunning as possible and become an enemy of both empires even though deep down I know I was scared. I was scared because I was just a teenager who got reincarnated in a world where both words and swords can behead someone. I wasn't a person who belongs in this world. I was merely an intruder. An intruder who knows everything and does nothing to change one's fate. [The picture isn't mine so credits to the owner] Also, expect some grammatical errors. English is not my native language-- it would be quite helpful if you point out some mistakes. Some contents contained things that might be uncomfortable with readers such as gore, death and the talk about beliefs.

Imagine this: you're a perfectly ordinary office worker, stuck in the usual cycle of emails, coffee breaks, and daydreams about living in a fictional world-when suddenly, you wake up after a disturbingly vivid memory of... well, dying. And if that's not strange enough, you find yourself in the body of your all-time favorite villainess from a third-rate novel you read to escape reality. That's exactly the predicament Natalia's found herself in. After her untimely death, she opens her eyes to discover she's now inhabiting none other than Leticia Medicci-the infamous villainess destined for a tragic end in her favorite light novel. A character who, despite being written off as a one-dimensional villain, always captivated her with a strange sort of charm. But now, facing a pre-written demise and with a deep knowledge of Leticia's world, Natalia realizes she has one advantage: she knows exactly how the story's supposed to go... and exactly what she needs to change if she wants to survive.

We both share my father's personality, a wedge that makes it hard for the three of us to talk to one another. It was fine, living like that, I mean. I was the daughter of the Duke, engaged to the Prince who didn't seem to care that much about the engagement. I was the Master of Ancient Magic at the Magic Tower. I had everything and I was stronger than most. The only terrible thing was that on my coming of age ceremony, it was all ruined. Catherina broke into my ball, claiming to be the daughter of some woman and my father. She looked like her mother and acted like her to gain my father's affection, society's adoration and the Prince's love. For two years she ruined me up to the point of my death. She somehow was able to frame me and villainize me as she stole my fiancé and life. She continued doing so until I somehow was framed for attempted murder. My father called me a traitor and a liar, the Prince sentenced my death and no one stopped it. I woke in my body again, 18 years old and with a plan. I don't want the Prince who will ridicule me, embarrass me and choose the woman over me. I don't care for all those who supported her over me. I had one plan. Kill her before she kills me.

Inure: (v.) To accustom to accept something undesirable, evil, or painful. An other worldly girl is reincarnated as Queen Estella de Royalis, the villainess of a novel that is killed by her own husband. Having no other choice, she strives to save herself from that fate. However, the novel she read is not the reality she believed. ______ I tried on another, a red one this time. I twirl in its large skirt. "This one matches your eyes," I say as I spin. "This one too." I stop, putting my hands on my hips. "Are you going to order all of them?" "If I want to, yes, I will." He doesn't budge. I sigh, sitting next to him. "You know that you don't have to do this. I can go buy my own dresses." "I know, but I want to see you wear dresses that I chose. Besides, is it so wrong to want to spend time with you?" ______ Note: This is entirely my work. I want to see if I'm able to write something without a plot set up for me. I hope you like it!
