"You hate me, don't you?" "No. I wish I did." When rookie Oscar Piastri joins McLaren, Lando Norris doesn't think much of him: quiet, polite, unthreatening. Until the first test. Until Oscar's lap times start haunting him more than the thought of losing ever did. Rivalry turns personal, and attraction feels a lot like obsession. In the season that could make or break them, Lando learns that the real danger isn't on the track. It's the rookie sharing his garage. ✦ .  ⁺   . ✦ .  ⁺   . ✦ .  ⁺   . ✦ .  ⁺   . ✦ Additional tags: angst; enemies to lovers; explicit; sexual content; internalized homophobia; fluff; smut; slow burn;

"You wanna try?" Said the curly-haired boy with a helmet in one hand and Oscar's fate in the other. They were supposed to make it to F1 together. And technically? They did. But now Lando can't stand to look at him. And Oscar? He's still trying to fix something he never meant to break. Or: the one where Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were childhood best friends, maybe something more, until everything exploded-and now they're stuck side by side, pretending they don't remember every second of what they lost.

✮✮✮✮✮ Childhood best friends. Brothers in everything but blood. Until the streets taught them speed matters more than loyalty. One race. One crash. One version of the truth they will never agree on. Because the crash didn't just leave scars on the road. It left behind words neither of them were supposed to ever say. Now their names don't belong in the same sentence unless it's a warning. But the city brings them back into the same lanes, same lights, same feelings they both swore they buried that night. And the worst part isn't the rivalry. It's that every time they line up at the start... it still feels like coming home.

I lean in, close enough that my breath grazes the side of his neck. "Jealous?" I murmur, with a smile that's anything but sweet. He freezes for a second, then turns slowly toward me, lips curving into something sharper than amusement. "Jealous? No. Just clear-eyed. You should be too-especially knowing I'm familiar with your little habits... better than anyone." ☆ Two teammates. One team. No trust. For two years, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have played the perfect duo in front of the cameras. But behind the smiles is a silent war - fought in the shadows, on and off the track. Because in Formula 1, speed isn't the only way to win. And in this game... only one will survive.
