To her family and the people she grew up around, Von's name is tied to years of grief and death. But unconscious, Von isn't the monster she expected. Nyasia helps nurse him back to health while secretly battling guilt for saving a man her brothers hate. And when Von finally wakes up and realizes exactly who she is, paranoia immediately turns into hostility. After being discharged from the hospital, Von unexpectedly reaches out.
