Rebonding - bonding with your rebound. Sarah Mulligan is a creative content creator. After her ex-husband remarried, she jokingly pitched the idea for a reality TV show. The premise? Well, the contestants have to find a rebound and marry them. It really was just a joke. She was sad and slightly trollied at the time. A divorce does that to you, y'know? Who wouldn't turn to alcohol after finding out their ex remarried a week after leaving them? Her joke turned into reality (television). And that's where it gets slightly complicated. For several reasons. Firstly, the show is hosted by Sarah's ex-husband Peter and his new wife Katie. (Never date your co-workers.) Secondly, the idea of watching completely insignificant divorces meet and fall in love wasn't interesting enough, so it got an upgrade. The show is called Celebrity Rebound. You can fill in the blanks. :) Thirdly, when you begin developing genuine feelings for one of the contestants on your show, you won't much enjoy watching him 'dating' the other women. And finally, it doesn't bode well for you when you're stuck on an island where everyone seems to be behaving gradually weirder. DISCLAIMER: I obviously don't own Oli Sykes, his band, his lyrics etc. This is a fanfiction so most things will be made up. The other contestants will be fictional celebrities.
