It lingers in shared glances, unfinished conversations and memories that refuse to fade. ⸻ 𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐭 ⋆ 𝐈𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐧 A girl who never stays silent and a boy who says too little. Together they become the kind of story neither of them was prepared for. REWRITTEN Fia Romero thought her life was perfectly content - until she met Wes Hamilton, her boyfriend Nate's devilishly handsome dorm mate. While Fia had been blissfully ensconced in a committed three-year relationship, Wes didn't believe in tying himself down. For him, college was a buffet of options to be explored and experienced to the fullest without the constraints of commitment. Their unlikely friendship blossomed from an outrageous proposition - Wes wanted Fia to be his matchmaker and find him a girl worth forsaking his wild ways for. What started as an innocent game between polar opposites soon ignited an undeniable chemistry that neither could ignore, no matter how hard they tried. What started as match-making turned into a fake-dating relationship, leading to confused feelings and room-fulls of tension. With each coy smile, each heated exchange of banter, the lines between reality and reckless desire began to blur. Suddenly, Fia found herself questioning everything she thought she knew about love, commitment, and the person she believed was her soulmate. A little game of playing Cupid turns into something more and maybe, the person who has always been the one for you was standing right under your nose the whole time.

"I love you" she says and kisses my jaw tenderly. "I love you too baby" I reply stroking her still damp hair. We were sat in a dirty McDonald's car park. Follow my Instagram for any updates and if you have any questions: @nikki_k123 Alex has been living the same life, with the same routine, repeating it every day. Every day is the same. The one thing she does look forward to is going to cafe de l'amour every morning on her way to school, where she sits and writes, all while seeing Carter Reed. The most popular boy at school who, surprisingly, prefers the solitary life. They go to the same cafe every day, sit at the same tables every day, and notice each other every day, yet are strangers who have never uttered a word to one another. And strangers they shall remain. Perfect strangers. But that's about to change. . . . . . I watched as he kept his eyes trained on the notebook in front of him where he aimlessly drew spirals and coils that surrounded each other, trapped each other, and suffocated each other. My eyes traced the movement of his pen, following each line he drew onto the paper. "Your tea." I snapped out of my trance and looked up, thanking Katy before she went back to the counter. I turned back and caught him looking at me. I expected him to look away and continue acting like I don't exist. Like he's always done and so have I. What I didn't expect was for him to walk right over and sit with me. "Hi, I'm Carter." PSA: This story is inspired by the Wattpad novel 'Caffeine' by @meddlingkids ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
