The Wizarding War is over, and Voldemort is gone. The golden trio decides to go back to Hogwarts to retake their 7th year, their last year, but they aren't the only ones. What will happen when Hermione is named head girl, and finds out that head boy will be none other than Draco Malfoy? Will they keep hating each other through out the year? The war is over. Everyone has to retake the previous year at Hogwarts. Hermione Granger is made Head Girl and Draco Malfoy is made Head Boy. Tensions rise between the two. Ron starts acting very different, which takes it's toil on Hermione and Ron's relationship. What could be causing his sudden attitude change? And will things start to darken when Lucius Malfoy gets involved? What will he do? Can Draco and Hermione find happiness together or is it just not meant to be?

All Hermione wanted to do was to return to Hogwarts and finish her education with a bang as Head Girl. After that, she had her whole life sorted out. She would work things out with Ron, work at the ministry, and become Minister for Magic one day. The universe, as usual, had other plans. Draco certainly wasn't expecting McGonagall to pick him as Head Boy but Harry Potter declined and as per usual, he was the second choice. Unsure what the people back in school had in store for then after all the Death Eater business they were involved in, he returns to Hogwarts with his friends to finish their education anyway. Neither one saw the partnership coming, nor the friendship forged between their two sides. They really didn't plan for any of it to happen - the law, the friendship or the love that changed both of them.
