Bonham Walker is a close friend of (Name's) father and after hearing how she's been stuck in rut, he offers her to come move to Austin and work on the ranch to help her figure out her life and where she wants it to go now. During the move, Emily Walker is killed and her widower husband, Cordell Walker goes undercover. When Cordell returns, he's not exactly what she expected and he wasn't too sure about her either.
