Ilya just arrived back to his boyfriend's cottage after meeting Shane's parents. They help each other relax and then Ilya is embarrassed by the sappy questions Shane asks him. My first Heated Rivalry fanfic! Hopefully the first of many. Just a super sweet scene I couldn't get out of my head after my first rewatch of the show. Written in Ilya pov with some themes from the books (Cause you bet I read all those between re-watching the show) but is set in the TV show post season one canon.
