Neil Perry is an outgoing stud who is equally as obsessed. Charlie Dalton is rooting from afar. Being queer in the eighties, especially in a catholic boys boarding school, might not be the most pleasant experience. The "gay plague" is making a sweep and riots are happening blocks away. While the fight for freedom continues, Todd struggles with his own boy battles.

Neil's life was pre-constructed, he never dared to question or falter; until he met Todd that is. To Neil, Todd was the embodiment of rebellion, everything he'd never dared to obtain yet everything he feverishly craved. Throughout the course of these chapters, Neil learns things - unimaginable things - about himself, life, love, and the fact he would trade the whole world to be able to live freely and deeply.

Todd wasn't just going to sit by and let Neil go to Harvard without him, was he? After Neil is unenrolled from Welton, Todd can only think of how to be reunited with him. His plan is simple: If Neil's going to Harvard, he'll just have to go, too. Meanwhile, Neil is still trying to find his way at Brayton Military School. As time goes on, he makes an unlikely friend, and reveals what really happened on the fateful night of December 15th.

The plan for this is basically a ridiculously sad Anderperry (Todd Anderson x Neil Perry) fic. So yeah, don't read at a family dinner if you don't want to sob.

Todd is watching helplessly as Neil is carted away after the play, when he is visited by three strange spirits. Each spirit reveals to him a different aspect of his story, and the gives Todd one last chance to save Neil. But will he be able to do it? Or will he learn a lesson in preventing the inevitable?(A Christmas Carol knockoff, happy holidays)
