One day he bumps into a guy and is pissed off so he tries to fight him, but another guy who is well known for being handsome, kind, and not to mention very rich steps in, he fights Sanemi and forces Sanemi to be his dog, but the thing is this guy, named Tomioka Giyuu hate dogs, he thinks they are violent and mean just like Sanemi, but for some reason he keeps Sanemi around.

Hashira's go to night school. This story takes place in the modern era, not reincarnated though. Sanemi is sick and tired of trying to fit school and work in his daily schedule so he starts night school.

Giyuu is with his useless boyfriend who treats him badly but manipulates Giyuu to stay with him. One night this boyfriend forces Giyuu to go with him to an underground fight ring, while they are watching the fight his boyfriend disappears and Giyuu notices and decides to act out on it. He eventually finds him in the bathroom hooking up with some, cheating on Giyuu. Giyuu gets pissed and storms off, being followed by his now ex-boyfriend who is begging for him back, they start to argue on their way out as the fight ends and the ex-boyfriend gets pissed and tries to hit Giyuu and as Giyuu is. accepting the fact he is going to get hit, something, more like someone stops the strike before it lands on Giyuu. it was the winner of the fight. He is tall, well built, covered in scars, white hair, and muted purple eyes. He was handsome and charming and dealt with the ex pretty quickly and then went to hit on Giyuu and try to ask him out but Giyuu is not entertained, thanks him, and leaves. About an hour later he has to go into work as he is called in for an emergency, one of his jobs is working as a bartender in a club, and since this club is popular he does run into someone he met only an hour before. That same fighter, he learns his name is Sanemi Shinazugawa. From that moment on Sanemi tries his best to take Giyuu out and take care of him, Giyuu is intrigued but doesn't plan to fall for him that easy.

Giyuu wasn't planning to become a demon. But when his duel with Sanemi ends with his haori being nearly ripped in two, he spirals. That night, he has dinner with his best friend Karl, who after hearing how Giyuu really feels, offers for Giyuu to become a demon.
