Grian is a watcher and has run away to hermitcraft in season 6, he has kept the fact that he is a watcher a secret for years and does not plan to stop. He never met the evils (Ex and Hels) but knows about them from X (every new hermit is told about them incase they return) but he is not as afraid of them as everyone else, he is a watcher after all. Ex (evil xisuma) and Hels (Helsknight) Have been trapped in the void for years. Tho they don't know how long, it's difficult to tell time, but they know it has been a long pain-filled time, but then there is a light, is that there way out?! This takes place in hermitcraft season 9, there is not a specific time is s9 just some point when the rift exists. *Disclaimer* All art in this book is not mine, credit to the owners! After a terrible tragedy that Grian blames himself for, he joins the Tournament for Death's mercy in an attempt to win the prize of a loved one brought back from the dead. During the first segment of the Tournament, he teams up with another contestant, one calling himself the Wizard. They can't seem to stop running into each other, and Grian tries his best to distance himself, knowing that only one of them can win, but that's much harder than it seems.

This is an Au where instead of joining hermitcraft after escaping the watchers, grian ends up on the dream smp. The timeline is a bit before quackity and the others come to execute technoblade. There will likely be no shipping, except for cannon relationships within the dream smp, and past relationships from YHS, TS, KOV, and evo. There will be a lot of angst for my favorite pesky bird. There may be some scarian doing the line if the plot progress that way.
