In a joyful town, Hawkins once met a normal girl a weird boy. They fell in love, got children and the woman left with her children. Only to return a few years later. Emily Parker likes her new town, except for the boy Steve Harrington who gets on her back everytime. Soon she gets involves with the trouble in Hawkins and sees things she's never seen before. Mason Parker is a guy that likes to be alone, doesn't need a lot of friends because of his past. But he already meets a few boys who are fond of him. He also meets a red haired girl Max Mayfield who he immediately has a crush on.
