Seeking refuge among the Metkayina they have to jeopardise the future of their eldest daughter, to stay safe and hidden. They have to offer her as a future Tsahìk. This story is purely fictional, based on the story of James Cameron's Avatar The Way of Water.

As the future Olo'eyktan of the Metkayina, Aonung prides himself on control-over the reef, over others, over himself-until Kel 'Hani disrupts it with a single laugh and a look held too long.
