In that cold city of New York, Conan sure found someone to warm his night. made specially to celebrate Conan's 25 years as a late night host. 2018, revised 2026. Author's note (2026): This was the first explicit fanfic I've ever written, in general. I was afraid of posting it, I showed it to some friends before posting, and I wrote the ten chapters and posted them at the same time. The OC goes unnamed for some time because Conan also didn't know her name, but the reader probably guessed it because of the title. Song that inspired the title was Polk Salad Annie by Elvis Presley as Conan sings it on the remote of him and Deon Cole eating soul food. It was written to celebrate his twenty-five years as a late night host. First 90s Conan fic, too.

I simply love you more than I love life itself. 2020, revised 2026 Author's note (2026): This my favorite fanfic, and I've been told by close friends it's their favorite fanfic as well. Conan falls for a childhood friend. Timeline is from 1978-1985. Chapters are non-linear, I had just rewatched Pulp Fiction, and I thought it would be a good way to illustrate how they were made for each other. Key events from Conan's life are mentioned as Conan told many of childhood stories on his show and on the podcast. Writing like that made it seem more real, but of course not everything is completely aligned with reality. Named OC. Title comes from Conan's favorite Flannery O'Connor short story.

Rainey Holloway doesn't believe in easy love. She moves to Bayside halfway through senior year with a sketchbook, a '67 Chevy Impala, and enough walls around her heart to keep anyone out - especially Zack Morris. Zack is everything she doesn't trust: charming, reckless, surrounded by girls, and hiding behind a smile that never seems real. She wants nothing to do with him. He can't stand that she doesn't fall for his act. But somewhere between arguments, late nights, stolen glances, and the quiet moments no one else sees, Rainey starts to discover the boy behind the persona - and it terrifies her. Because falling for him means risking everything. Through graduation, distance, summer heartbreak, jealousy, and a love that refuses to stay buried, they learn that sometimes the things that scare us most are the things we need the most.
