Lucy asks quietly. It's the question that's been plaguing her for the past two days, ever since she saw his name on the list. There's a lot of things that Tim hates, but she's pretty sure undercover work might be at the forefront. Yet, he had volunteered to do a long-term op, posing as her husband. She knows he's trying to pay everything back to her-small doses, he had said. But... This is a lot. This isn't just some small dose. This is just about as big as a dose that anything could be. "Because," Tim starts heavily, "I'll always have your back. As long as you'll let me."

This is a story about the Bradford family (Tim, Lucy and Tamara), but especially the bond Tim and Tamara created through the years of Tim and Lucy's marriage. In this fictional story Lucy is 30, Tim is 36 and Tamara is 11 (she was 8 when they found her (she isn't their biological child but that didn't matter to Tim and Lucy)).

This is what I imagine (want) to happen straight after season 6 ended (Aaron is still in the story despite him having confirmed he won't be in season 7), focus on Chenford, slow burn. The Oscar/Jason storyline is incorporated from season 6 but not Monica. Lucy sets out to prove herself again as a good cop after her disaster with the detective's exam. Will the awkwardness between Chenford be resolved? Or will it all come to a head? Disclaimer - I have stayed true to each character's mannerisms in the show, so if you're looking for a story where Tim calls Lucy his pookie princess and is overly gushy, you won't find that here. I have remained as realistic as I can with each character's actions, behaviours and words.
