Set against the gritty pulse of late-90s counterculture in Baton Rouge, Below the Signal follows four misfits employed by a company known as Harper-Kline Investigations. Founded in 1948, Harper-Kline officially hunts, archives, and eliminates supernatural dangers that poses a threat to humanity. Unofficially, however, the company recruits rejects, former criminals, and psychopathic misfits as a way to rehabilitate troubled minds. Take these losers, for example: Tessa Beauvais: A debt-ridden witch more concerned with finances than the supernatural. Elias Nilssen: A desk-napping third-generation monster hunter who couldn't care less about the family business. Rafe: A contract-bound rogue whose unpredictability makes him dangerous to allies and enemies alike. Shailene Inoue: A bored oracle whose hunger for adrenaline led her to escape a conversion camp. Fortunately, under the eye of their supervisor, Dr. Lucien Briar, the quartet is assigned with appears to be a routine child-abduction investigation after it dominates national headlines. The strange detail: a missing mother of two was last seen obsessed with Mirthwood Hollow, a forgotten 1980s children's TV program filled with life lessons, quaint folklore, and unsettling symbolism. As the team investigates, the case grows stranger by the hour. Footage of Mirthwood Hollow is unstable as parents who watch it decades ago recall episodes no one else does. Symbols embedded in the show's set design match occult signatures Harper-Kline has long classified as extinct. Witness timelines warp, interviews contradict themselves, and the investigation begins to behave like a trap set decades earlier. With the Baton Rouge Police Department refusing to interfere further, the quartet must figure out who - or what - created Mirthwood Hollow, why the missing parents were targeted, and how a seemingly innocent TV show became a conduit for something that has finally resurfaced.

When Gemma's sent to a boarding school in France, she expects loneliness, awkward introductions, and a year that she can't wait to be over. Instead, she finds a small, close-knit group of friends and a city that slowly begins to feel like home. Among them is a boy who seems impossible not to notice. He's effortless and untouchable, and being friends with him feels safer than wanting more. What grows between them is slow and unspoken, shaped by shared moments rather than promises. In a place that was supposed to be temporary, she discovers that the most unexpected thing is not falling in love, but risking her heart on someone who's never stayed long enough to break his own. Loosely based off of the book "Anna and the French Kiss" by Stephanie Perkins.

At nineteen, Mal Williams has learned how to disappear in plain sight. An active-duty Navy cyber specialist with a disciplined mind and a carefully controlled life, Mal is recruited into the most private security operation in the country-the Moorestone estate, home to the wealthiest and most powerful family in the world. Behind locked gates and flawless appearances, her job is simple: observe, protect, and never be seen. But the mansion is not what it seems. As Mal embeds herself deeper into the estate's systems, she begins to notice fractures-patterns that don't belong, movements that aren't accounted for, and a presence that mirrors her own precision. Someone is watching her. Someone who understands surveillance as well as she does. And the closer she gets to the truth, the harder it becomes to tell what is real, what is controlled, and what is deliberately hidden. Caught between military duty and private power, Mal forms uneasy bonds with the Moorestone siblings-each guarding their own secrets, each tied to the estate in ways she doesn't yet understand. Trust becomes a liability. Isolation becomes dangerous. In a world built on wealth, silence, and surveillance, being unnoticed was her greatest strength. Now, it may be the one thing she can no longer afford.
