He ran his hand through her hair, fixated on how the silky strands fell between his fingers. He reached beneath her chin, tilting her face up to his. "People say there's a monster in Paris, and that monster is me." ◦◦◦ When Lila takes things a little too far and Marinette is expelled, she feels like she's lost everything: her friends, her future and, most of all, Adrien. But Chat Noir gives her hope and helps her form a plan to get her life back. Adrien has problems of his own. After an awful encounter with Ladybug he's no longer sure about their partnership and ends up failing Marinette when she needs him most. Only this time he won't sit back like he did before. But their misery beckons to Hawk Moth and he takes full advantage of the situation. Chat Blanc will do everything in his power to keep Chat Noir from coming back and Marinette is the only one who can save him. But without her powers the challenge seems near impossible. Chat Noir is starting to hate Ladybug for replacing him and trusting other people instead of him. Chat Noir would love to tell Ladybug how he feels about his situation, but he loves her too much to make a fuss about his life problems. Chat Noir starts to break down every time he comes home. Sometimes he goes to Marinette's to comfort himself since Marinette is Chat Noirs only civilian friend. Because of his emotions, he gets Akumatized and becomes Chat Blanc and knows exactly the right person to ask for Ladybug's identity.

Chat Noir starts coming over to Marinette's house more frequently. He is feeling neglected and unappreciated by Ladybug and goes to Marinette for comfort. But is something more developing? Read a Forbidden Love to find out.
