Two Time ends up becoming more greedy for lives and ends up killing more people, what could be the cause?

Two time has been a member of the spawn cult for as long as they've known. The routine has always been the same. Wake up. Pray. Go to service. Pray. Eat if you're allowed to. Etc, etc. But when Two time's suddenly yanked out of that cycle and put on a mission to head to an unfamiliar mansion and adapt? That's a bit startling. Not to mention, they have to work as a maid for 7 unusual masters. There's something off about each and every one of them, though...
