the year is 1986 and the byers have moved to california while the rest of the crew remains in hawkins. max and mike travel to california to visit el and will. the friends spend time catching up and showing the crew around. after, mike, will, argyle, and jonathan decide to take a road-trip down to hawkins to see the rest of the crew. leaving max and el alone with joyce and hopper. but what will happen when mike and will are alone in a car together for 3 days? (also side note - hopper was never taken by the russians in this fic and moved to california with joyce and the kids!)

[Please ignore the cover's quality.] Yes, it has Byler. This is a oneshot, so yes it is finished, not discontinued. Steve Harrington had a bat that was covered with nails. Nancy Wheeler had a gun, guns actually. Jane 'El' Hopper had her superpowers. And Mike Wheeler? He had his candlestick that nobody took him seriously for. They could have laughed all they wanted, but it was that damned candlestick which saved their lives, and the entirety of Hawkins, in the end. "William, you are going to help me one last time." In which Will Byers is responsible for anything that appears in the Upside Down after he entered it and the real Big Boss of the Upside Down is the Mind Flayer, who just so decided he's gonna take advantage of Will's powers in gaining a new form. And Mike Wheeler would take a bullet for any of his friends, and if he can't jump off a cliff to save Dustin, he's going to slain a dragon with a candlestick. Or: a fic losely following the timeline after the new trailer, that is inspired by Will's painting for Mike. In which Will finds out that as long as he's in the Upside Down he's basically in gamemode creative and can do what he wants, for the most part anyway. And then Mike is just kind of there because he's Mike, I don't really know. Includes: crack taken seriously, Byler, the Tessalhydra(is that what it's called? idk i don't play D&D), vampire Eddie as a comedic-relief villain's henchman, and most importanly Mike's candlestick that decided to identify as a sword now, (also my beloved sassy Will Byers because I love him and we haven't gotten enough of him in season 4), happy ending(frankly, it's a bit of an open ending, but it ends on a happy note) 7254 words This could be taken as a bit of a season 5 prediction actually, although it wasn't written as one, but it does involve a few of my theories(although some of those theories aren't personal ones, but more people support them). Plus add my take on season 5 (or at least a part of it), and give everyone the happy ending they deserve. ~~~ "El?" Mike's voice ran through her ears, but she wasn't listening, her eyes were focused on the lights above. Was it her doing? Angela was screaming, everyone else panicking and Jane's eyes finally caught a glimpse of her brother, he was staring wide-eyed at Angela. ... "So, is anyone going to tell me what happened back there?" Jonathan asked, his arms crossed over his chest. "El made that light explode, I think her powers are back," Mike explained when the other two didn't seem to take the honour to do so. "El? Is that true?" Jonathan asked, Jane looked over at Will who's eyes were focused on the ground. "I think so, yeah," she nodded.

"Steve, he literally asked you like four times to come there, obviously he wants you there," Robin said with a sigh, why was her bestfriend so stubborn. "I know, that's not the point here. The point is, what if something happens? What if that Dark Knight or whatever his name is shows up again?" Steve asked in worry, Robin rolled her eyes. "He can wait for one evening." ~ I.. I messed up ... maybe I'm not meant to be a superhero... ~ . . . . . . . I have a big Spider-man and Stranger Things brain rot, so I made a whole storyline for a crossover while zoning out in class (don't ask) - wrote I about a year ago and this had been in my drafts (edited and ready to post) since about March, so here it finally is (in honor of the new Spider-verse movie) The story is in four parts (plus two bonus chapters), which comes in total for 83 chapters(parts?) making it my longest work yet (so there might be plotholes, even tho I'm sure I eliminated them (most of them at least) during editing process, but yea !warnings!: canon typical violence, major character death(s), swearing (probably), blood and gore (not too graphic, just mentions cuz I don't like to write it either)

After defeating the Upside Down in 1987 everyone decides to go their own separate ways. Years later as the Upside Down gates are open again, everyone is called back to Hawkins to help closing the gate again. ~ I kind of took inspiration from the movie 'IT' from 2019 about the general idea, otherwise the plot and storyline are mine. As well as the cover, I also did myself with the use of images from google. I only own a few characters I added for the story to work, but the majority of them originally belong to the Duffer Brothers. ~ TW: blood, death, mentions of abuse, alcohol use, drug use, smoking, major character death -I think that's all, but I may add some if needed -I may post on week days (maybe not everyday, but deffinetly not weekend days), I'll try to post regulary but who knows how it turns out

Description from the original fic, edited: Will Byers has been having nightmares for a while now, they seem to be getting more and more real with each new one, until he wakes up one night and realizes they weren't nightmares at all. They were always just a way for Henry to torture him, again and again, until Will breaks. ~~~ So, back in 2022 when season 4 volume 2 came out, I wrote a fic. Back then, I had almost no views and didn't assume people would read my stuff. But, for whichever reason everyone decided to only read that one fanfiction. Said fanfiction was just an exuse for me to write a rewrite where El and Will ran into each other instead of Will being taken and El spending the night in the woods, because I realized they were both there and couldn't get the idea out of my head. In the first fanfic, I didn't even check for plotholes and just posted it as I went, it's not even beta-read or edited and I'm more than certain there are many, many gramatical and other errors. Because, like I said, I didn't expect people to read it at the time. However, everyone reading my stuff seems to be only reading that one fic and it's bugging me deeply, because to me, it's trash (compared to my newer stuff, like "Lights"). And because I hate it when authors unpublish or edit works I read before, I'm doing a remastered version in a new, separate book, to fix what I wrote 3 years ago. Hopefully, the curse of everyone only ever reading that fanfiction will be lifted and I'll be allowed to sleep peacefully at night.
