"You wanted me to reject you," he shouts, frustrated.
"Well, maybe I want to take it back," I whisper.
He sighs, running his fingers through his hair. "It isn't that simple." He trains his eyes on me, stepping out from behind his desk and leaning on the front of it. On his face is an unreadable expression. I walk toward him, a determined look on my face but wonder laced in my eyes. Thoughts race through my head as my heart pounds.
"What if it is?"

Rowan's been running from a young age when her brother and father were killed by a man who only wants to use her. After having a close run-in with pack members of the ruthless man that's after her, Rowan's hectic runaway life turns even more hectic as she meets new people who turn out to only want the best for her, something she hasn't had in a long time.
With only four months until her 18th birthday, things begin to change. Rowan begins to change and memories start to seep into her mind, memories she'd forcibly pushed out. Through her hard journey to figure out what's happening to her, Rowan discovers that she doesn't need to be alone and that she doesn't have to.
