"Being shot in the head will teach you two very important things about life. The first thing it teaches you is that you're tempting fate when you take a shortcut on your delivery route through a graveyard. When you're already surrounded by the dead and buried, sometimes there are people who want to help you feel at home, with a 9mm hunk of lead right through your noggin. And the second thing that it teaches you is that, when the finky bastard in the checkered suit who pulled the nine on you is dumb enough to show you his face, you'd better remember it -- just in case you survive, harboring one killer headache and a hankering for some good, old-fashioned vigilante justice." Meet Nevada Morgan: a 22 year-old Mojave Express gunslinger-turned-courier with a lifelong streak of bad luck. Tired of losing in life and with a hunger for revenge, she'll do whatever it takes to track down what she's lost -- and for Nevada, there's no price too high. For Nevada, it's all or nothing. ---------- HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 NUCLEAR (28/6/2022) #1 MOJAVE (28/6/2022) #1 NCR (10/7/2022) #1 NEW VEGAS (24/08/2023) #1 COURIER (22/10/2023) #1 POST-APOCALYPSE (04/12/23) #1 WESTERN (05/01/2026) DISCLAIMER/TRIGGER WARNING: Fallout New Vegas is owned by Bethesda Softworks and Obsidian Entertainment. In 2274, the Mojave Boot Riders vanished from southern Nevada, their last camp abandoned without any trace or evidence of their whereabouts. The day after their disappearance, a lone Securitron wandered upon the site, sent by Mr House in hopes of reaching out to the tribe and inviting them to run The Tops Hotel & Casino on the New Vegas Strip -- an invite that went unanswered, and a casino left unmanned. Years later, in 2281, a courier carrying a chip made of platinum completed her journey without a hitch or a hint of an 'X' shaped scar to mark her forehead. With no man in a checkered suit to stand in her way, the Platinum Chip found its way into the hands of New Vegas' elusive overseer, Mr House, the courier herself becoming a begrudging agent on behalf of Mr House, bargaining caps for a militia's-worth of guns in return for his bidding to be carried out -- business that aligned with the direction of her own: rescuing her enslaved little sister from Fortification Hill. Along the way, she made a promise to take the Platinum Chip into a bunker inside the blood-drenched walls of Fortification Hill, upgrading an army of Securitrons within. Easy enough, she thought. After all, who would stand in her way once she'd killed them all? What Nevada Morgan, the un-shot Courier Six, had not expected, however, was to be leaving Fortification Hill in a hail of gunfire, tailed by her four-years enslaved mother, Dakota Morgan, alongside Virginia Morgan... and the fighting-feral man with a shaggy, brown mullet, dressed in slave rags, but marked with the tattoos of his long-gone tribe: Benny Gecko, the last Boot-Rider.
