[Preview] Miwa clung desperately to the hand that had pulled her out of the darkness, the hand of the man who seemed to be the only person in the world who believed her or cared. There were no tears left to shed, if there were, she'd probably be crying now. The kind man with the deep voice who'd picked her up off the street gave her hand a gentle squeeze. He turned to her, though she could not see his face through the strange metal mask he wore she felt his comforting gaze. She gripped his hand tightly and quickened her pace to keep up with his long strides. "It's alright, little one, no one will hurt you, ever again." His deep voice calmed her and made her feel safe which wasn't something she had felt for some time. Mesmer smiled to herself as she thought of the night the master had rescued her and given her a new name and new life. He was the only adult who seemed to give a damn about her, the only person in the world who believed her. It had been eight years since then, she was practically a grown up now at age sixteen. The master had been true to his word, no one had ever harmed her and he made sure that no one ever would. He helped her master her quirk, and gave her the tools she needed to get her revenge and keep herself safe.

Sometimes the people who smile the brightest are the most broken.... Endeavor looked around the conference room filled with his sidekicks. He took a quick mental headcount and frowned. The newest recruit, the UA student he'd offered a work study position to, was late. There was a faint pop above, causing everyone to look up as a petite girl with long snow-white hair and bright golden hued green eyes wearing a skin tight green accented silver bodysuit appeared out of thin air. She glanced downward and let out a squeak as she plummeted toward the ground. Sighing, Endeavor kicked a nearby plush rolling chair across the floor to break her fall. She toppled into the plush chair with a giggle that brought a smile to everyone's face. Her name was Ridley and she was a second year at UA. She had interned with his agency during her first year as a UA student. All of his sidekicks were surprised when he'd offered her to continue working with them. He was even considering offering her a full-time position as one of his sidekicks once she graduated from UA. No one expected him to like the bubbly energetic youth since he often came across as surly and far too serious whereas the youth seemed to be a little bit of an airhead. Ridley was almost never serious, there was always a bright happy smile on her face and everywhere she went she left laughter and smiles in her wake. She brightened everyone's days, spreading cheer and goodwill to all who crossed her path. Perhaps that was why Endeavor had decided to keep her, he wasn't immune to her charms though he rarely smiled she did cheer him up and give him hope. With her help, he might be able to learn to make amends with his family and maybe become a better hero. Tamaki Amajiki X OC

Enji Todoroki strived to be number one. As did many other ambitious individuals, he found himself a wife with a quirk he thought would be suitable to mold strong children that would also achieve greatness. She was quiet and meek, perfect wife material. She wouldn't question or challenge him. After a year of marriage, Rei gave birth to twins. A boy with a head of crimson hair and a girl with a head of white hair. Toya and Tira. Toya their first-born son was strong and healthy, Tira seemed underweight and a little weak. She had to stay in the hospital a few days longer. Enji worried the white-haired infant was defective in some way but his reservations dissipated once they brought her home from the hospital. A year later Rei gave birth to a second daughter, Fuyumi. A few years later, another son, Natsuo. Enji wanted several children in case his and Rei's quirks didn't blend how he had anticipated. Early on Toya showed promise with a strong fire quirk and Tira showed promise with a strong ice quirk. Neither Fuyumi or Natsuo seemed promising so he barely paid them any mind. Instead, Enji spent his time pushing Toya and Tira to their limits trying to make them stronger. Warning: Twincest

I leaned forward and kissed the top of her head once more, "I love you." "Forever and always?" She asked with another sniffle, though I could tell she was faking now, I'd said what she wanted to hear and she already felt better. "Forever and always." I agreed. "Promise?" "Only if you get to sleep." I attempted to be stern but couldn't help but crack a smile. She giggled softly and closed her eyes. "Goodnight, Nii-sama." "Goodnight." I picked up the tray with the empty mug and headed for the door.
