T/p, une étudiante épuisée par la monotonie de sa vie, jongle entre ses cours à la fac et son job dans un café pour joindre les deux bouts. Un jour, lassée de cette routine sans éclat, elle décide de faire un acte impulsif : invoquer un démon. Son objectif ? Pimenter son existence ordinaire. Mais ce qu'elle n'avait pas prévu, c'était de tomber sur un démon à l'attitude inattendue. Nommé Scaramouche, il se montre curieusement peu intéressé par les pactes diaboliques classiques. Amusé par le fait qu'elle n'éprouve aucune peur à son égard, il découvre un point commun surprenant avec T/p : l'ennui. Intrigué par son audace et son absence de crainte, il décide de rester à ses côtés, juste pour voir où cela les mènera. Dès lors, la vie de T/p prend une tournure imprévisible. Elle commence à entrevoir des vérités insoupçonnées sur le monde des vivants et des morts, abandonnant peu à peu son quotidien terne et répétitif. Au fil du temps, Scaramouche se surprend à ressentir quelque chose d'étrange pour cette "petite mortelle" qu'il affectionne de plus en plus. Quant à elle, elle retrouve peu à peu le goût de vivre grâce à la présence de cet allié improbable et... insupportable. Qui aurait cru que son ange gardien serait un démon ? - Ce livre aborde des sujets sensibles et est destiné à un public adulte. Il contient des thèmes potentiellement perturbants, que j'évoquerai dans le prologue, car la limite de mots de la description ne me permet pas de tout inclure.
