She was never meant to be found. She was never meant to be chosen. Corrinthia Llavellan has survived by staying unseen. A masked thief, a blade in the dark, a name whispered only in wanted posters-until she crosses paths with Wyvern Drop, a quiet village built on faith, trust, and dangerous hope. When an ancient relic bound to her blood begins to awaken, Corrinthia finds herself caught between the life she buried and the power that refuses to let her go. As gods stir, secrets surface, and old enemies return, she must decide what she is willing to become to protect the people who never asked her to stay. This is a story about chosen family, slow-burning bonds, and the cost of being seen. Some powers conquer. Others recognize. And recognition can be the most dangerous thing of all.

Once, the world was ordered. Or so the histories claim. Beyond the veil of recorded time lie continents shaped by judgment and fire, seas ruled by unseen hands, and skies claimed by those who decide who may rise and who must fall. Empires stand upon foundations they no longer remember building, guarded by powers they only half understand. Between Paradise abandoned and Hell yet unclaimed stretches a long descent-through nations hardened by conquest, through truths buried so deeply they have become law. Old oaths fracture. Ancient forces stir. And what was erased from memory begins to walk again. This is not a tale of salvation. It is the chronicle of a world moving, step by step, toward its reckoning.

[Completed] The Royal Guard of the Empire has faithfully served Byzantia for nearly three centuries now. Hand picked from foreign lands, these guardsmen hold no political ties, carry no agendas, and bare no creeds except to those who sit upon the Onyx Throne. They are vanguards, protectors, loyalists. They are Vangen. Change has come to the Empire. An Empress sits upon the throne now, destroying any who would rebel against her with both fire and iron. To the east, her loyal Vangen work to quash the newest rebellion, until a letter arrives one day, marked with the Empresses seal. The contents within bare only dread and disturbance for the Guardsmen. The Black Ministry, the former Emperor's cabal of Sorcerers, have turned against the Empress. The Vangen's return is bittersweet. The city they once called home is now a battlefield, every street a choke-point. Every home a possible nesting ground for rebels. The Royal Guard will have to fight tooth and nail to put down the Ministry and protect the Empress, but the deeper they go, the harder the lines begin to blur. In a world where good and evil does not exist, where then does a man's loyalty lie? (Comments and Feedback are always appreciated)
