[AU] A misunderstood sentiment behind an "heir for a day" comment gets Daemon sent out of King's Landing. Realizing that his brother would never trust him fully or recognize him as his heir, Daemon decides to quit while he is ahead. He leaves for the Free Cities to start a new life, and as he does so, he takes his favourite golden cloak with him. Fast forward five years. A new power is rising in the Stepstones, taking control of all the trade routes across the Narrow Sea.
