Esme's melody ceases, and she checks his scar before backing away. There's a pause, " Why didn't you come for me? " She asks coldly, staring at the floor without meeting his gaze. " Excuse me? " He was very much aware of what she was referring to, but kept his composure, even though that question hurt him deeply. " Don't play coy with me, you and I both know my memory has been restored. Why didn't you come for me when you died?! Did our lives mean nothing to you? " He takes a sharp inhale and looks away, " Of course, our lives meant something to me. " Esme's eyes glow brightly and her fangs drop from her mouth in obvious anger, " Then why didn't you come for me here?! Why leave me alone all this time?! " " Why?! You really have to ask me that?! " He shouts, his eyes burning with all of hell within them. ~ **SEQUEL TO 'A Siren's Spell' Human Alastor Fanfiction, PLEASE READ THAT BOOK FIRST* * TRIGGER WARNING: This story has themes of grief, loss, domestic abuse, and more! For Fawn, life was normal. As a 21 year old college student living on her own, she's doing pretty decent with the cards she's been dealt. Who knew that one dusty old box from 1925 could rattle her world and take her back in time to experience first hand the bloody past of old New Orleans? In a panic to fix her mistake, she shakes hands with death himself, and seals her fate. Now, her clock is running down, and time is not on her side as she races to figure out a way home. ** Any art in this book belongs to me. The cover belongs to me. Fawn belongs to me. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS AN ANGSTY SLOW BURN Before Lucifer ever met Lilith, there was Liora - his partner, his confidant, his closest friend... and, though she never dared admit it, the one who hoped might be something more. He was the Morningstar. She was Eden's light. Liora designed every leaf, every flower, every ray of golden sunlight. And Lucifer, drawn to her artistry, often worked beside her. Together, they created beauty - and a connection neither of them fully understood. But when Lilith was made, everything shifted. Liora and Lucifer still agreed that Heaven needed to change... yet they clashed on how. Rebel, or reform from within? With Lilith in his ear, Lucifer chose the path that tore Heaven apart. Liora stayed - and Heaven punished her for it. Once Eden's brightest creator, she was shoved into the archives, buried in dust and silence, stripped of the beauty she lived for. She accepted her fate... until one document came across her desk and informed her of Heaven's extermination. Liora stood up to Sera - and lost everything. She fell, too, hiding and never revealing her existence to him until she learned of Charlie's hotel. Now, centuries later, they meet again. Two angels with unfinished history. Two hearts full of what ifs that were never resolved. And a fire that never actually died. Hazbin Hotel and all canon characters, settings, and concepts are the property of Vivienne Medrano (VivziePop). I do not own any part of the Hazbin Hotel franchise. This work is a transformative fanfiction intended solely for entertainment. All original characters (including Liora) and original plot elements belong to me.
