The circus died with him. Christine (Pomni) went home first. Sprinted out of the building where everyone was spit out so fast she didn't see anyone's real face. When she knocks on the door, her mother breaks down in tears and pulled her into a hug. She had been missing for nine months. Nine months of questions she doesn't know how to answer. She tries to explain where she's been, but the words sound impossible-even to herself. Felix (Jax) returns to a house filled with memories he ran from. The last time he was there, he'd left after a fight with his mom's boyfriend. Awful words were said. But he ran, never looking back. Now he had to face the question he's been avoiding: after everything, does he still belong there? This is a story about two people rebuilding lives that kept moving without them. About finding familiarity in a world that no longer feels the same. And about a friendship that survives the circus-proving that even after everything falls apart, some connections don't disappear. Y/N is a pretty popular girl among the students of her college. While having good grades and good future prospects ahead, she still manages to have fun hangouts with her friend group: climbing rooftops to go stargaze, playing sports they've never played before, and, most importantly, exploring abandoned buildings. After losing a bet, she's dared to explore one by herself. Y/N wasn't scared at first, but the place looked too good to be abandoned. After a while she reaches a room where she finds a computer. It was still on, which was surprising because she didn't think there still was power running through the place. There was a weird looking headset beside it. She had never tried one of those, so she picked it up out of curiosity, blew some dust from it and put it on. (I don't own any of the characters, everyone is from The Amazing Digital Circus. When they are arguing, instead of lunging at Jax, Pomni looses it and tries to end it. She didn't think reaching a game over with the intention of it being permanent would lead to anything. Expect it does. Caine is brewing up an antidote for the abstractions, when Pomni stubbles across it. After Jax trips Pomni when it's in her possession, she's been affected by it and has started to develop strong feelings towards Jax. When Jax is forced to play along, he begins to reciprocate feelings. However, a yandere lurks inside the digital circus, who wants Pomni all to themselves. (extreme cringe warning)

This is a bubbling story about the friendship between some (mainly two) of our most beloved characters. I think we can guess who. Watch them grow though their friendship and the wonderful choices they make, as well as the amazing quests they go on. Introducing themselves as Pomni and Jax, they send him and the rest of the cast on adventures almost every day, each one more horrific than the last. But it isn't the adventures that concern him. His ringmasters carry secrets, dark and damning ones. Whatever is weighing Pomni and Jax down, Canto can tell it will eventually break them. And the circus may not be able to handle it when they do. Pomni has done something unforgivable. She thought no one could die in the digital circus but as she sees the haunting sight of Caine disappearing, her belief completely altered. It was her fault since she impulsively hit him with his own cane during a heated confrontation. His disappearance would cause a great expense as the circus followed to also disappear with him. In a desperate attempt, Pomni did the unthinkable. ------ A/N: This is a story based off an alternate universe of the amazing digital circus made by Blue17Scar on twitter. The replacement code AU shows a story where Pomni offs Caine and reluctantly fuses with him as a last resort to save everyone within the circus from totally disappearing.
