Kinger's backstory told by his daughter-Brooklin, or Brook, is just a normal girl. Her dad is a video game designer, and her mom is a stay at home mom who, for some reason, loves bugs. They moved when Brook was 11 and her brother, Connor, was 6. They moved for her dad's job. One day he disappeared, so Brooks mom went looking for him. Shortly after, she didn't come home. Brook was 12 when her mom disappeared. Brook became the main caretaker for her and her brother. When Brook was in her twenties, she spotted a stranger in the street who looked kind of like her mom, but it couldn't be. She would have come home, not somewhere else, right? Brook started looking for her dad, waving off the suspicion that it had been her mom. She found a VR headset in an old, abandoned building. Her younger brother was going to be 20 soon, so he needed a good gift. She tried on the headset to see what games it had, and she became part of the Amazing Digital Circus. It was hell for a while. All she did was hide in her room. But there was one spark of hope. Kinger. She recognized his voice. The way he spewed random words just because he wanted to. It was her father. One day, Ragatha knocked gently on her door and told her that Kinger had abstracted and there was a new chess piece. A bishop. She recognized his voice. After the events of The Amazing Digital Circus, life continued on for the members that remained. Through years of adventures and exciting ideas made manifest, the cast enjoyed their time together. But all things have to end eventually. This story follows Pomni as she explores the gruesome and ugly reality of compounding survivor's guilt as the characters come to terms with inevitable fate. She tries to explain where she's been, but the words sound impossible-even to herself. Felix (Jax) returns to a house filled with memories he ran from. The last time he was there, he'd left after a fight with his mom's boyfriend. Awful words were said. But he ran, never looking back. Now he had to face the question he's been avoiding: after everything, does he still belong there? This is a story about two people rebuilding lives that kept moving without them. About finding familiarity in a world that no longer feels the same. And about a friendship that survives the circus-proving that even after everything falls apart, some connections don't disappear. Y/N is a pretty popular girl among the students of her college. After losing a bet, she's dared to explore an abandoned building by herself. She wasn't scared at first, but the place looked too good to be abandoned. After a while she reached a room where she found a computer: it was still on, which was surprising because she didn't think there still was power running through the place. There was a weird looking headset laying on the desk beside it. She had never tried one of those, so of course she picked it up out of curiosity, blew some dust from it and put it on. The next moment she found herself standing in a cartoonish-looking world, trapped into the body of a pierrot clown. A certain rabbit boy, blocked in The Amazing Digital Circus just like her, helped her accept her fate and make the most of it. A slow burn between Y/N and Jax, where she slowly figures out what she feels for her friend, while still not being able to forget the abstracted frog, Ribbit, who haunts her memories. When they are arguing, instead of lunging at Jax, Pomni looses it and tries to end it. She didn't think reaching a game over with the intention of it being permanent would lead to anything. Expect it does. Jax learns pretending not to care doesn't mean it's true, and that the circus doesn't function as he'd convinced himself it does. - Cross-posted on AO3 Written before episode 7 and 8. Caine is brewing up an antidote for the abstractions, when Pomni stubbles across it. After Jax trips Pomni when it's in her possession, she's been affected by it and has started to develop strong feelings towards Jax. When Jax is forced to play along, he begins to reciprocate feelings. However, a yandere lurks inside the digital circus, who wants Pomni all to themselves. (extreme cringe warning)

This is a bubbling story about the friendship between some (mainly two) of our most beloved characters. I think we can guess who. Watch them grow though their friendship and the wonderful choices they make, as well as the amazing quests they go on. Pomni has done something unforgivable. She thought no one could die in the digital circus but as she sees the haunting sight of Caine disappearing, her belief completely altered. It was her fault since she impulsively hit him with his own cane during a heated confrontation. His disappearance would cause a great expense as the circus followed to also disappear with him. In a desperate attempt, Pomni did the unthinkable. ------ A/N: This is a story based off an alternate universe of the amazing digital circus made by Blue17Scar on twitter. The replacement code AU shows a story where Pomni offs Caine and reluctantly fuses with him as a last resort to save everyone within the circus from totally disappearing. This story will have the same story as the original AU but with some changes and additions that I will incorporate in this story.
