An up-and-coming white rapper from Detroit Michigan with a troubled past whose skills are undeniable and unmatchable by anybody else in the rap game, so Dre takes Marshall under his wing as well. Which is exactly how Marshall and Lenika meet. By an unexpected encounter in one of the rooms at the Interscope building that changes it all for the both of them because they instantly fall in love. The problem is that their mutual mentor, Dr Dre, doesn't want that. For either of them, especially Lenika. He's got a whole lot of respect for Marshall. When it comes to being a hard working man in the rap game that is. Dre truly loves the kid, Marshall is like his little brother or something. But he also loves Lenika too. And knowing all of the personal issues that Marshall comes with, Dre wants him nowhere near Lenika romantically. Simply because he doesn't want Marshall to ruin her character. Ruin her as a person.
