A story about love, loud silences, and the long, painful, beautiful process of becoming whole again... All Navia wanted was a quiet senior year. No drama, no trauma dumping, and definitely no foreign exchange students spawning on her couch. But then came Auren - a soccer-playing, sarcasm-wielding, food-obsessed Canadian boy with a talent for getting under her skin. Navia has no patience for nonsense, small talk, or people who expect her to entertain their shenanigans. She's spent her life trying not to take up the space and time of others. Auren, meanwhile, never learned how to stop yapping, and spends his time wasting other people's. Between chaotic best friends, unhinged choir teachers, pottery mishaps, and constant banter, the two navigate a school year full of fighting, healing, unexpected laughter, and a kind of love that feels terrifyingly beautiful.

Marley finds herself exploring nostalgic fairgrounds with her childhood doll. Yet, when presented with a simple game, she is tasked with the impossible. "A Night at the Fair" is a short story with themes of identity and the loss of imagination. Readers who enjoy more introspective themes with an unsettling, fever-dream-like tone may find this a nice read.

|| Paden Sawyer was heavily illegal. And, unfortunately, it wasn't just because he was a theif. No- he was Fae. And not only that, he had magic. Flame, to be precise. Though he'd stopped using it at 13, when his father had been killed, his mother long gone and the only light he had was a little girl called Charlotte Sawyer, his little sister. Living on the streets of the Stonehollow Kingdom wasn't the most best life, especially when he had to wear a hood to cover his pointed ears. But atleast he was good at thievery. And running. That was about one of the only perks that Fae had- speed, and perhaps agility, too, but Paden didn't really have any books to say if his theory was correct. Whilst on his way to steal a piece of bread from a bakery that couldn't manage to afford proper guards, clearly, he spotted the one and only queen of Stonehollow; Lilith Morningstar. And Then, she spotted him, too. He went to hide, but she called out. Luckily only his white hair and not his name. That would've been concerning. ||
